Monday, 23rd November 2009M corresponding to 05 Zulhijjah 1430H – A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Fire & Rescue Department and Insurans Islam TAIB at the Officers Mess, Fire and Rescue Department Hall, Fire and Rescue Department Headquarters, Old Airport Berakas.

Signing on behalf of Fire & Rescue Department was Yang Mulia Awg Yahya bin Hj Abd Rahman, the Director of Fire and Rescue Department. While Insurans Islam TAIB was represented by Yang Mulia Dyg Hjh Nornaimah bte Hj Zainip, Acting Managing Director of Insurans Islam TAIB.

Prior to the signing, a welcoming speech was delivered by the Chairman of the Ceremony Yang Mulia Dayang Hjh Siti Mayang binti Hj Hussin who is also the Assistant Director of Training Planning and Personnel, Fire and Rescue Department. Yang Mulia Dyg Hjh Nornaimah bte Hj Zainip, Acting Managing Director of Insurans Islam TAIB also delivered a speech.

With the signing of the memorandum, Officers and Staff of Fire & Rescue Department are now covered under the Group Family Takaful, protecting them around the clock against mishaps or accidents while performing their duties or not.

Also in attendances in the ceremony were Officers of the Fire & Rescue Department, Officers of Financial Institution Division, Ministry of Finance, Members of Board of Directors of Insurans Islam TAIB and Officers of Insurans Islam TAIB.
